For their safety and because of long-standing traditions, members of the Royal Family must adhere to strict standards. They are not allowed to go for a walk or shop for groceries. Everything is arranged considering their safety. They must also observe rules regarding what to wear and how to act. Despite everything that distinguishes the Royal Family from the rest of us, they are still people under it all. They enjoy joking around and laughing. They make mistakes, act foolishly, and enjoy themselves with their loved ones. Here are some of the more candid photographs from the Royal Family, proving that they are just like the rest of us.
Dem heels
We’ve all been in that situation. It’s difficult to walk in high heels, especially when the streets are uneven. Even Duchess Kate Middleton, known for her poise and grace, couldn’t avoid being caught in the grate on the road. Her heel got stuck inside, and her Royal husband gave her a helping hand.
Catching up on his sleep
At first glance, this snapshot appears to be a lovely photograph of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sharing a quiet moment. With love in her eyes. If you look past them, however, you will notice something else. Prince William is seated next to Duchess Meghan and is straining to stay awake.
This photograph is from the Anzac Day ceremony at Westminster Abbey. Just two days after his wife, Kate Middleton, gave birth to their third child, Understandably, he was exhausted, as anyone would be in such a scenario!
Snow Fight
When you’re in the snow, it’s difficult to resist the urge to toss a snowball at someone, no matter how old you are. Even the Duchess of Cambridge was unable to restrain herself. She startled Prince William with a perfect shot snowball during a ski vacation. Her smirky smile shows that she had a terrific time striking her hubby with the ice-cold snowball. On the other hand, William appears unpleasantly astonished. He’s squishing up his face in an unusual way, given how poised and regal he usually is.
Getting Competitive
We all want to show our brothers and sisters that we’re faster than them. The desire to win and defeat their family members is evident in Prince Harry, Prince William, and Duchess Kate. They are running towards triumph in this beautiful photo of the three of them, each trying their hardest to outrun the other. Kate may be a little behind the naturally quicker men, but she still manages to appear lovely with a big smile on her face. Prince William is doing everything he can to keep up, but Harry has stolen the lead and is having a blast.

Prince Harry has a way with children. We’ve seen it time and again when he charms tiny children who come to see him with their parents. On this occasion, Harry was at the Invictus Games in Toronto in 2017 to see a volleyball match. He was seated next to Emily Henson and her two-year-old daughter. Little Emily began stealing Harry’s popcorn as he was engrossed in the game, completely oblivious that she was stealing from royalty. Harry playing with the baby has to be the cutest.
Harry, put your tongue away.
Children like making ridiculous faces, and royal children are no different.
Since his birth, Prince Harry has always had a good time in front of the camera. In this cute photo, Harry sticks his tongue out as far as it will go, and Princess Diana is powerless to make him act like a proper young prince.
Rock Climbing
We don’t see Prince Charles having a great time too often. After all, he is the future King of England, and he must always act appropriately in that capacity. Prince Charles couldn’t resist the challenge of a climbing wall while visiting New Jersey in 2012. He hopped up on the red rock route and made his way across in a double-breasted suit and brown dress shoes. That’s what ordinary people do as well.
Off-Balance
Even countesses, it appears, lose their balance from time to time. In 2017, Prince William and Kate Middleton rode in a carriage with Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, during the Royal Ascot procession. Sophie abruptly rose in the carriage, lost her footing, and began to tumble over. Kate, fortunately, reacted quickly and caught the Countess with both hands. The two Royal ladies erupted in laughter. It appeared to be a situation that could happen to anyone.
Breakdown of a princess
Anyone that has spent time with kids knows that they all have tantrums or misbehave at times, regardless of how well behaved they are. With her charm and fearlessness, little Princess Charlotte has won the hearts of the world. She has, however, been caught on camera misbehaving, just like every other little girl on the planet. This photo was taken in 2017 during a family vacation when the Princess broke down on the tarmac.
Never, ever grow up
We’ve already remarked that Prince Harry appears to have a natural affinity for youngsters, which is particularly admirable given that he’s just recently become a parent.
When he was in Dublin with his wife, Meghan Markle, he showed off his quirky attitude, which lets him relate to children. A four-year-old child pulls Harry’s beard in this photo. “You might have a beard soon — you never know!” the Prince was overheard saying in response to the boy’s gesture.
A brawl
The Royal Family and Harry Potter are two of the most well-known British icons. Those pieces come together in the most amusing ways in this unusual shot. During a visit to Warner Bros. Studios in 2013, Prince William and Kate Middleton took out their wands and began dueling. William, Kate, and Harry are huge Harry Potter fans who were thrilled to see the sets. They even got to meet J.K. Rowling, the author.
Party Times
When we see images of Prince William and Kate Middleton, we usually see them looking their finest. They are well-dressed and smiling, and they appear to be too good to be true. However, this wasn’t always the case. During their time at university, William and Kate, like other students, had their days of partying and staying up too late. That is what this photograph shows. The photo before they married when they were both still pretty young, and we have no idea what’s going on in this photo.
Surprise!
Over the years, there have been many photographs of Prince Harry making funny faces. He’s always been the Royal Family’s mischievous member, as evidenced we have of these fantastic photos of him. In this one, he appears to have been taken by surprise while holding a dish of cupcakes. Despite his surprised expression, he was able to keep a grip on the snacks, preventing them from tumbling.
Misguided ice cream
Prince Charles’ wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is frequently seen by his side. Because he is the future King of England, they are held to the highest standard, and we rarely see them acting stupid or unprepared for a portrait. Camilla has trouble eating ice cream without making a mess, and a cameraman caught her after she got a little vanilla on her nose.
Cheery Prince.
Here’s another image of Prince Harry doing something silly. This time we can only speculate on what he was up to. Harry, like everyone else, enjoys fooling about with his buddies and making others laugh. He appears to be imitating the motion of riding a motorcycle and possibly making the sound with his mouth. That would account for his hysterical expression! The man standing next to him appears to be thoroughly enjoying the show.

The world’s attention was drawn to this candid photograph of the Royal Family. In honor of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday in 2018, a beautiful family photo was posted. Kate and Prince Louis are staring in the wrong direction, Meghan Markle is falling over in laughter, Prince George is cracking up on his grandfather’s knee, and Duchess Camilla is showing Princess Charlotte where to look. The photo demonstrates that beneath all of the fanfare, the Royals are simply average folks.
